How Are Event Changes and Cancellations Handled?
Event cancellation and change terms depend on work completed, staffing, vendors, materials, and the signed agreement.

Event planning and coordination often begin well before the event date.
Completed planning and coordination work is non-refundable. This may include consultations, research, budget strategy, timelines, vendor work, venue review, layout planning, meetings, written documents, staffing plans, guest logistics, and administration.
Cancellation or change charges may also depend on:
- notice provided;
- retainers and deposits;
- assigned staff;
- materials already purchased or prepared;
- vendor commitments;
- transportation;
- printing;
- venue costs;
- third-party charges.
A postponed event may require rebooking. Reducing guest count, removing components, shortening hours, changing venues, or making major schedule changes may still involve committed costs.
The current written proposal, agreement, invoice, and confirmation control the actual terms.
