Stargazing is highly dependent on current sky and site conditions.
Visibility may be affected by:
- clouds;
- smoke;
- wildfire;
- haze;
- moonlight;
- nearby artificial lighting;
- horizon obstructions;
- wind;
- temperature;
- precipitation;
- site access;
- celestial position;
- season.
BTD Tours cannot guarantee clear skies, dark skies, the Milky Way, planets, galaxies, nebulae, meteor showers, eclipses, aurora, comets, or other celestial events.
A confirmed program may need to change location, timing, viewing targets, equipment, or format because of conditions.
Warm layers and red-light flashlights may be recommended. Guests must follow equipment and safety instructions.
